Pre-Kindergarten

Enrollment:

To enroll a child in the PreK class, the child must be 4 years of age by August 1, of the current year.  All children must be fully toilet trained.  Parents must provide proof of immunization and the child must have a physical prior to attending school.

Curriculum:

PreK is designed to prepare children for kindergarten and elementary success.  It is a Christ-centered program focused on providing students with a strong academic foundation in core curriculum subjects.  Language arts instruction includes reading readiness, phonics, and handwriting.  Beginning math concepts are introduced and developed using the Saxon Math program.  A variety of hands-on learning experiences, reading, and discussion groups promote science and social studies curriculums allowing children to explore the world around them. Each day includes sharing our love for the Lord through Bible stories, prayer, music and devotions.  Students will experience opportunities for enrichment, computer instruction, and creative expression in addition to core curriculum subjects. Children attend music, Chapel Service, library, and Kinetic Kids each week.  Kinetic Kids is a program to aide in the development of basic motor skills important for the achievement of early learning success. They will also enjoy several field trips to reinforce learning.
