God’s hand is truly on Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran School. He has blessed us with the ability to embrace each child individually. To meet them where they are academically and provide an avenue by which they can be challenged to achieve through a Christ-centered learning environment. He has provided a dedicated staff who consistently give of themselves beyond their job descriptions to ensure that we have a sound curriculum for which our students can succeed. We have wonderful parents who through their volunteer efforts truly come along side the school and partner with us to enrich the learning environment for all students. We have a church body which has a tremendous heart for this ministry. They unselfishly give of their time, talent, and treasure allowing us to offer a sound spiritual and academic program at an affordable rate. We look forward to the 2009/2010 year, when we will be adding a PreK program in addition to our Preschool and Elementary classes. We seek to accomplish the vision of being a preschool through Eighth grade accredited school in the very near future. With all these things in place we are able to provide a strong spiritual and academic foundation for our students equipping them to think critically, investigate, and decipher through knowledge the world around them.
