We are proud to offer you a Christ-centered academically sound educational experience while continuing to be one of the most financially affordable private schools in the Brighton area.
Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran School offers many discounts that are listed below. We also have need-based tuition assistance. We hope to never turn a family away from our school because of financial reasons. YOU CAN AFFORD US!

Member Tuition:
Member tuition is offered to families who are active members of LCMS churches. A new process that applies only to members of Shepherd of the Lakes or other congregations of the LCMS has been adopted. It is meant to encourage families to apply the lessons learned in school and to maintain faithful church attendance. Details can be found here.
Sibling Discounts*:
Second child 10% discount
Third child 20% discount
Fourth child 100% discount, no charge!
*Beginning in 2014-2015, there will be no sibling discount for preschool or prekindergarten. The sibling discount will continue for elementary students.
New Family Discount:
The oldest full-day elementary student of a family new to our school, even SOTL church member families, will receive a $500 New Family Discount. This is in addition to any other discounts. Kindergarten students who start at half-day will receive $50 off per payment when they transition to full-day kindergarten.
Annual Payment Discount:
If the entire tuition is paid by August 15, a 3% discount, rounded to the nearest dollar, will be granted. Tuition assistance recipients are not eligible for a 3% discount if tuition is paid in full at the start of the year.
Payment Plan:
Tuition may be paid in ten equal installments. The first payment is due August 1, and the final payment is due by May 1. Tuition paid after the 15th of the month will be assessed a $25 fee.
TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program):
The TRIP fundraising program can be used by school families to offset the cost of tuition. By linking a Meijer credit card to SOTL and by purchasing gift cards, families earn money towards their tuition. The details can be found on the TRIP page.
Refer a Friend Bonus:
Current school families may earn a refer a friend bonus when they tell others about our school.
