Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran School offers many discounts that are listed below. We also have need-based tuition assistance. We hope to never turn a family away from our school because of financial reasons. YOU CAN AFFORD US!

Member tuition is offered to families who are active members of LCMS churches. A process that applies only to members of Shepherd of the Lakes or other congregations of the LCMS has been adopted. It is meant to encourage families to apply the lessons learned in school and to maintain faithful church attendance. Details can be found here.
Second student in kindergarten through eighth grade 10% discount

New Family Discount:
The oldest full-day elementary student of a family new to our school, even SOTL church member families, will receive a $500 New Family Discount for the first year. This is in addition to any other discounts. Kindergarten students who start at half-day will receive $50 off per payment when they transition to full-day kindergarten.
Annual Payment Discount:
If the entire tuition is paid by August 15, a 3% discount, rounded to the nearest dollar, will be granted. Tuition assistance recipients are not eligible for a 3% discount if tuition is paid in full at the start of the year.
Tuition may be paid in ten equal installments. The first payment is due August 1, and the final payment is due by May 1. Tuition paid after the 15th of the month will be assessed a $25 fee.
TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program):
The TRIP fundraising program can be used by school families to offset the cost of tuition. By linking a Meijer credit card to SOTL and/or by purchasing gift cards, families earn money toward their tuition. The details can be found on the TRIP page.
Refer a Friend Bonus:
Current school families may earn a Refer a Friend Bonus when they tell others about our school.

All preschool through eighth grade registration forms received by April 1, 2017 will be entered into a drawing. We will randomly choose one registration form, and that student’s family will win that registration fee back!
Registration fee increase after June 1:
The registration fee for returning students who are entering first through eighth grade will increase to $350 per student after June 1, 2017.
