Extracurriculars

Shepherd of the Lakes offers several extracurricular opportunities.

In the spring Michigan Alliance generally offers a free soccer club to students in preschool through sixth grade.

Cub Scouts, beginning in first grade, provides boys with the opportunity to learn skills and earn badges.

Daisies, kindergarten and first graders, and Brownies, second and third graders, provides girls with the opportunity to learn skills and earn badges.

Girls on the Run, beginning in third grade, is a running club that also focuses on self-esteem. This program culminates in a 5K.

Beginning in first grade, many students from our school participate in Community Bible Church’s recreational basketball league. Several of our parents coach, and our students play on those teams or other teams.
